Have you tried Google Docs?

A Report from the FNF’s International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Gummersbach:

I was really blown away by some of my classmates in our New Media workshop this week. They put together some very funny ads for Google Docs as part of their group assignment to report back to the class on this topic.

On Tuesday, we were divided into five groups and tasked with investigating, trying and reporting back on various new media tools (you can read more about the different group assignments here). One of the groups was tasked with making a presentation about Google Docs. As I wrote on our class blog, they went above and beyond to tell us what they liked about Google Docs by hamming up the Mac vs PC ads, but comparing Google Docs with MS Office. “Bill” (aka Toni Crisolli) – one of the stars in the ads – has appealed for help to climb the YouTube charts.

I think it has the potential to catch on and spread. Google should enjoy it.

Here is the video clip with all five episodes:

One small criticism

One thing I would have done differently (and I’ll actually make this suggestion) is to upload each episode as an individual video clip, rather than a compendium. I think it would generate more interest – and more views.
